History

Dr. Janet Gutrich started her private practice in 1983 as a nurse and naprapath in Lincoln Park Chicago. Her thirst for more education led her to graduate from the National College of Chiropractic in 1991, when she opened a larger private practice on Clybourn Avenue.

The practice grows

Since that time, Janet has expanded her practice into a multi-faceted wellness practice. Dr. Chris Halliday, our full-time chiropractor, and Dr. Yuan Jun Liu, our acupuncturist, both came on board in 2001. Nina and Marilyn, our massage therapists, joined the team in 2002 and 2005, respectively. Together with Janet, they form the core of Gutrich Chiropractic. All practitioners strive to keep current in natural, biological, and technological advances through ongoing research and education.

Awards

In May of 2004, Gutrich Chiropractic received the 2004 Best Small Business of the Year Award from the Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce — something we are very proud of.
